A knowledge-based Center as a Hub of Regional Innovation

Jeonju University will play a leading role as a knowledge-based center hub of regional innovation and will be a respected university supported and loved by the regional community members.

We, the faculty and staff, will exert our best efforts to make our university a distinguished institution and to grow together with the regional community in order to produce the experts for this era of globalization with a Christian world view, and will build up a happy family, and a healthy and clean society.

Jeonju University will be developed into an institution, which will play a leading role in vitalizing the regional economy, will satisfy various needs for education in the regional community, and will cultivate professionals for a knowledge-based society. Notably, Jeonju University will reach its goal of development earlier with the 10 billion won supporting fund from the Korean national government over the next several years with the selection of the large projects for New University for Regional Innovation (NURI) and the project for Industry-University Cooperation Hub University.

As president, I will make every effort to skillfully handle the management of our university, upgrade its "brand value" through strategic approaches, carry out a master plan for our campus, and be devoted to the fundamentals of higher education. I will also endeavor to enhance the faculty's research abilities and to make our university a multi-versity. Thus I will make it a place filled with respect and inspiration.

All members of the university are doing their best to be the global university in a short amount of time. Our university will continue to advance as a university noted worldwide.
